The training seminar "Performance Audit" was held in the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine
The training seminar “Performance Audit” within the GIZ Project “Support to Public Finance Management Reform” was held in the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine with the support of the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ). The purpose of the training was to discuss and to learn the leading methodologies of organizing and conducting the performance audits, exchange of experience and practical application of gained knowledge.
Auditor of the Regional Audit Office in Munich of the Bundesrechnungshof Robert Frei, Auditor of the Bundesrechnungshof Simone Neumaier and Deputy Director of the GIZ Project “Support to Public Finance Management Reform” Andreas Brunnbauer shared European experience with Ukrainian colleagues.
During the three-day work participants were offered 11 training modules. Each module contained information about important components of the successfulness of this type of audit, practical advices in applying relevant principles and methodologies. In particular, participants learned about organization of the audit of accounts in Germany (among others in Bavaria), calculation of performance criteria of audits, performed practical tasks.
Throughout the program 30 civil servants of the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine improved their professional skills.
